Science Projects galore!!!

Our class has been studying the solar systems for the last 2 weeks!! The students have thoroughly enjoyed this unit and all the information that it entails.... The students chose a planet or something in the solar system, created a model or picture, researched 7-10 facts, and then presented the project to class!! They all ROCKED!!!!!

AWARDS DAY AT WEST JASPER!!

Third grade racked up on awards today.. We had several students who were awarded All A Honor Roll and A&B Honor Roll and earned Perfect Attendance and AR Points

The Earth and Our Solar System

Today, my 3rd graders became researchers.... We started a unit on the solar system. We talked about the earth in relation to its location in the solar system, the causes of day, night and systems. We also talk about the growing advancement of technology in the space age. After a lengthy discussion as a whole group, we broke up into pairs and used our iPads to research facts about our unit. Students used the NASA, planets, and Science 360 apps. They thoroughly enjoy talking about our earth and how things evolve.
